Process

We were brought in towards the end of the production process, ready to add the essential motion graphic elements to the commercial. The storyline followed Martin Scorsese at a party, trying to get Jonah Hill to join. Our task was to animate the text message bubbles and other messaging elements that illustrated their conversation. To ensure authenticity, we researched the iOS interface of iPhones and created animations that mimicked the look and feel of real text messages.

Outcome

The final deliverables were the motion graphics for the Super Bowl commercial, featuring believable speech bubble animations and various messaging elements. These animations played a crucial role in the commercial, effectively conveying the humorous back-and-forth between Jonah Hill and Martin Scorsese. Our work added a layer of realism and engagement to the story, making the narrative clear and entertaining for viewers.
